11/3/09-  Falcons...What a tremendous season the Falcons have had…at all levels!  With being in our bye week, we are just waiting for the wrap up of this Friday’s games for the rest of our conference to determine the placing of the teams within our conference.  We still have a chance to be conference champs depending on the outcome of the County vs. Central game.  Go County!  The seeding for the playoffs will not happen until this Sunday morning.  I will send out information regarding our seeding and whether or not we will host or travel for the first round. 

We will continue our normal practice routine this week with the exception of Friday.  There will be no practice on Friday.  I know the players want to go watch the County vs. Central game.  Please remind them to be on their best behavior and to represent Falcon with the utmost class.  The coaches will not be at this game.  We are dividing up and traveling the state to get a live scout on all the other potential playoff teams.

This week’s Varsity team dinner will be held at Kellie Gomas house on Thursday after practice.  Address and directions are:  8780 Shreveport Rd: Take Meridian North. Take a left on Woodmen Hills, right on Garrison, left on Dallas, right on Shreveport.

 Thank you once again to everyone that has donated their money and time to the 2009 football season.  It has already been a huge success and the team(s) could not have been successful without your efforts.  Keep it up Falcon Nation!
