Coach Janes is beginning his 2nd year with the Falcon staff, but he is no stranger to the conference or 3A football.  Janes came to Falcon after a 3 year stint as the head coach @ Ellicott High School.  Prior to that, Janes was the Special Teams Coordinator @ Harrison High school.  Janes has also coached at Pine Creek here in CO Springs, along with 7 other programs in both Texas and New Mexico.

As a player, Janes played Offensive Line at Eastern New Mexico State from 1987-1989, and then finishing his career at New Mexico State from 1990-1992.  Coach Janes will be teaching both Business and IT classes at Falcon High School this upcoming year.

Matt, and his wife Robin, have 2 kids, Madison and Sam.
