Coach Catron is beginning his 7th season on the Falcon coaching staff and 4th as the head coach.  During his tenure as head coach, the Falcons have risen from the basement of the South Metro Conference to one of the top programs in 3A.  During his run as the Head Coach, he has an overall record of 20-14, which includes last year’s historic mark of 13-1.  Last year’s team finished statistically as one of the best on both sides of the football and held the #1 ranking in the state for the final 6 weeks of the season.  Coach Catron was named as the 3A South Metro Coach of the Year, as well as being named a Denver Bronco Coach of the Week during the season.  Coach Catron will coach the running backs and defensive backs this year on top of coordinating the special teams.

After playing Quarterback and Defensive back at Fergus High School (Lewistown, MT), Coach Catron spent 3 years as a Wide Receiver and Defensive Back at Dickinson State (Dickinson, ND) before earning his degree in Education with an emphasis in Math from the University of Montana.  Coach Catron currently teaches math at Falcon High School, a position he has held since 2002.  Coach Catron also served as the Girl’s Golf Coach up until 2007.
